Transportation
For public transport, you will not find a bus stop near Bahria Business District at a walk able distance, but it isn’t a big nuisance since most residents prefer private cars. However, you can always share a ride with someone or make use of the ride-hailing apps to get to the bus stops. From there, a bus passes by every 10 – 15 minutes.
On G.T. Road, there is Kahuta Humak Road Junction Bus Stop at a distance of around 7 kilometres, taking 18 minutes. While Bahria Town Bus Stop and Bahria Expressway Bus Stop are at a distance of 9 kilometres, taking roughly 16 minutes. On Kahuta Road, there is Humak Road Bus Stop at a distance of 10 kilometres approximately, taking 18 minutes and Ghee Mill Bus Stop at a distance of 12 kilometres, 20 minutes’ drive from Bahria Business District, Rawalpindi.
For inter-city transport, residents can travel by air train, bus or their own car. For travelling by train, Rawalpindi Railway Station is barely 16 kilometres away, roughly a 34 minutes’ drive from the district. It is one of the oldest railway stations of Pakistan. Located in Saddar area of Rawalpindi, this station dates back to 1881.

As the name suggests, Bahria Business District is a commercial centre of Bahria Town Rawalpindi. Therefore, residents will have to head towards the other subdivisions for schools and educational institutes.

Bahria Business District Rawalpindi is a developing commercial centre; therefore, you won’t find many operational banks over there. However, the rest of Bahria Town has a good number of bank branches with ATM. There is Bank Al Habib, MCB Bank and Bank Alfalah on Ali Haider Avenue in Ali Block of Bahria Safari Valley, 2 kilometres away, a drive of barely 5 minutes.
Hospitals
Bahria International Hospital, also known as Begum Akhtar Rukhsana Memorial Welfare Trust Hospital, is situated on Abu Bakar Avenue in Phase 8, at a drive of 7 minutes or so. It is a neat and clean hospital with separate OPD Block, emergency department, pathology department, cafeteria and pharmacy.
